Pathway Journey
My PhD project, in collaboration with Sosei-Heptares Therapeutics, investigates intestinal G protein- coupled receptors and their signalling pathways as potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of colitis.
Biography
Prior to my PhD I earned an MSc in Neuroscience at the University College London and a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Essex.
I chose to join the MRC DTP, specifically iCASE programme, because it provided me with the opportunity to not only pursue a PhD in the area of pharmacology, but also collaborate with an industrial partner.
