Pathway Journey

PhD Project: Experience dependent plasticity of the zebrafish retina

I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2020 with a first-class BA degree in Human Sciences. From here, I joined the MRC DTP. I chose the DTP due to it’s focus on interdisciplinary research and the ability to rotate across a range of research areas. This encouraged me to find out the topics I am most interested in, explore techniques and meet supervisors, before choosing my PhD project.

Beyond my PhD, I am actively involved in public engagement and science communication. This has included working with Green Man festival, Guerilla Science, New Scientist, and in2scienceUK.
