My PhD project is based on the development of multimodal imaging probes, for the evaluation of biological therapies such as CAR-T cells and Staminal cells.
I chose DTP as it offered the best opportunity to develop the skill needed to become an independent researcher in a very modern and multidisciplinary contest which perfectly reflect the reality of modern research. What I like the most of this program is the ease on which you are expose to different yet close sciences, all working together to achieve a common goal
I completed my BSc (Hons) Chemistry at London Metropolitan University and completed my MRes in Biomedical and Translational sciences at King’s College London. I have gained precious research experience during my time as an undergrad at London Met, thanks to Dr Bhaven Patel who have introduced me to the main techniques in chemical synthesis. I have worked in a number of industrial placements during my undergrad and college.
