I did my undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol, during which I spent a year on placement at GlaxoSmithKline. Whilst my research background was primarily immunology based, since joining the DTP I have done two rotations in the regenerative medicine space and one in bioinformatics. The reason I chose this programme is because it allows you to build an extensive skill set during rotations and diversify your scientific interests in a number of different disciplines.
