My PhD project is “Unravelling the role of Prozac in regulating glucose homeostasis”.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Physiology from King’s College London in 2017. During my undergraduate studies I worked on a few projects looking at prostate cancer cell migration, cardiac cytoarchitecture, endocrine pancreas development, and ER stress in pre-eclampsia at King’s and Cambridge University. I chose MRC DTP because it offers a wide range of workshops and seminars, as well as symposiums and conferences. It allowed me to continue studying diabetes at King’s and stay in the lab I enjoyed as an undergraduate student.
