1+3 Student
I graduated from King’s College London in 2020 with an MSci in Biochemistry. During my time at King’s I undertook numerous placement projects including a 6-month project investigating role of iron regulation in CD8+ T cell activation.
I chose the DTP due to its exciting range of translational projects. So far, the MRes year has allowed me to gain a wide range of new skills and be able to experience different labs before making a final choice. I have really enjoyed the rotation year so far and I am excited to begin my PhD!
Rotation Projects
- Defining the role of mechanical forces in fibrosis.
- Targeting the DNA damage response in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
- The influence of co-stimulatory domains on the metabolic regulation of the chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell function.
